Global Industry: Starbucks does not achieve its targets

Bremerhaven. (bm) Starbucks’ success is no longer a sure-fire success. In Q2-2024, global comparable store sales declined 4 percent and consolidated net revenues went down 2 percent. In China comparable store sales declined 11 percent and revenues went down 8 percent, while store count in China increased 14 percent. Corporate goals have obviously not been achieved. Local rivals are challenging the global top dog for market share. Starbucks is not unbeatable and local competitors are strong in East Asia. Other topics:
