Hamburg. (bm) McDonald’s Corporation announced results for the third quarter 2018, ended 30 September. Weakness in the U.S. business (comparable sales increased 2.4 percent) the Company compensated with global strength (comparable sales increased 4.2 percent). Altogether the quick-service restaurant chain beats earnings and revenue estimates for the quarter. «We remain confident that our strategy will drive long-term, profitable growth», said President and CEO Steve Easterbrook.
