Global Industry: Grupo Bimbo acquires »Mile Hi Bakery«

Bremerhaven. (bm) Mexico’s Grupo Bimbo presented its figures for the third quarter of 2023. Excluding the FX impact, Net Sales increased more than 8 percent and Adjusted Ebitda margin expanded by 50 basis points, now standing at a robust 14.6 percent. As the Group mentions in passing, it acquired »Mile Hi Bakery« in Colorado during the quarter. In Switzerland the Company acquired the majority stake of its QSR operations and now owns 60 percent of the business. Grupo Bimbo arrived in Switzerland in 2017 with the acquisition of East Balt Bakeries, one of the leading companies in the QSR industry. Other topics:
