(bm) Taking into account the tendered shares of Swiss Valora Holding and the shares held by the persons acting in concert with Valora, the participation of Mexico’s Femsa Group now amounts to a total of 3,705,851 Valora shares in aggregate, corresponding to 84.42 percent of the issued share capital and voting rights of Valora. Femsa appreciates this strong support for joining forces with Valora by the Valora shareholders, the Group said in an ad-hoc statement. Both companies announced in July a binding agreement under which Femsa will acquire Valora. The ad hoc announcement mentioned marks one (important) intermediate step among several.
