Global Industry: Fazer sells Food Service division

Bremerhaven. (bm) Finland’s Fazer Group focuses on its fast-moving consumer goods and direct-to-consumer businesses and has agreed to sell Fazer Food Services to Compass Group PLC – subject to EU Commission competition approval. Fazer Food Services is a premier food service provider in the Nordics. The division counts approximately 1’000 restaurants and 7’000 employees in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Estonia. Revenue per annum amounts to 600 million EUR in 2018. Other topics of the week:
