Global Industry: Aryzta AG does not come to rest

Bremerhaven. (bm) Aryzta’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020 will take place in December. As can be seen from the first motions for the agenda, the internal dispute about the strategy of the company is not yet over. Let’s remember: Not so long ago, the (old) board of directors pursued the idea of selling the Group. The new Board of Directors wants to restructure the Group on its own initiative. Because the new Board of Directors still includes members of the old Board, the company is not making enough progress. The first shareholders’ requests to add items to the agenda for the 2020 AGM now indicate that this shall change quickly so that all members of the Board finally pull together.
