Hamburg. (bm) Swiss Aryzta AG announced its results for the first quarter 2017 (01 August to 31 October 2016). Total revenue declined by minus 3.3 percent to 962.3 million EUR in the period. Underlying revenue declined by 1.2 percent. European volume growth was plus 1.8 percent, despite the temporary disruption due to consolidation of manufacturing activities in Germany. North America reported a volume decline of minus 5.7 percent, driven by long-term contract renewal losses. Other topics of the week:
